One Long Friday: A Festival Life, by Chandler Allan Arts. Updated October 18, 2026.
The game plays offline on your device. Playing online, on any device, uses an account on our server. This page says what that server keeps, why, and how to delete it. We don't sell or share your data. The game shows no ads, and its code doesn't track you or send us analytics.
What we keep
- Your account: your display name, and either your email address and a scrambled form of your password (never the password itself), or the code of the business card you signed in with. Also when it was made, when you last signed in, and the kind of device (iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux or web).
- Your saves, if your game stores them online.
- Chat: messages pass through the world you're in so other players see them. Recent chat goes with a report you send about a player, so we can see what happened.
- Reports you send (Report a problem, F6 on PC): your text, and if you keep them, a screenshot, the last lines of the game's log, the game version, where you stood in the game and basic facts about your device.
- Internet addresses, to stop abuse: they count sign-in tries for a short while, and one is kept with each report.
- The iPhone waitlist: if you leave your email to hear when the iPhone version is out, we keep that email (and your card's code) until we've sent the link.
- Store points and orders: if you buy from a real-life store in the game, the store (Shopify) handles the payment; we never see your card. We keep which order earned which points for your account, and records needed for refunds.
Who else is involved
- Render hosts our server. Game worlds may run on a separate rented server.
- Shopify runs the checkout of real-life stores, under its own privacy policy.
- Apple (TestFlight, the App Store), Google, and itch.io deliver the game, under their own policies.
- Our web pages load their fonts from Google Fonts.
Business cards
Each card has its own code. Whoever has the code and your display name can sign in to your account, so keep the card like a key. In the game, Secure your account adds an email and password, turns signing in with the card off, and signs out every other device that signed in with it.
Deleting your account
In the game: Play online, then Delete my account, and confirm twice. That deletes your account, your online saves and the reports you sent, and frees your name. A card used for a deleted account can start a new one. You can also ask us to delete it: the contact page on chandlerallanarts.com. Saves on your own device stay there until you remove the game.
Order records needed for refunds and accounting are kept as long as the law requires.
Age
One Long Friday is for players 17 and over. It is not meant for children.
